I’m the girl who married the boy I fell in love with in the cattle show ring. My Farmer is my husband who farms our family cattle & sheep farm. We raise our son, BoyChild, and daughter, GirlChild, in the centuries-old farmhouse my granddaddy bought, as legend tells it, on a front porch handshake. We are proud that our kids are multi-generation farmers and the 4th generation to grow up in the homeplace, even though it seems to have its own wind chill factor.
